WHY CHARTER A CAT?

A catamaran allows all the joys of sailing without compromising on comfort, space or privacy. Their inherent stability lends a platform for entertaining a large group that might not be possible with the "side tipping" of a traditional sailboat or contending with the engine noise of a powerboat. If the likelihood of seasickness might be an issue, a catamaran is substantially less than any other boat; both under sail or at anchor overnight - making for a very restful night's sleep.

In short - a cat is more spacious, comfortable and safe.

Sunbathe... or stargaze, on the forward open deck while listening to the wind and waves; or relax in the enclosed lounge area and have a meal of your choice, prepared on the boat, served to you while sailing to your destination or later when at anchor for the night.

And for those of you that might rather experience more sailing action, heeling over and the tradition of a mono-hull, this sailboat will be available for day-sail charters shortly. She's a 30' Island Packet... a classic and stout boat that has earned a well deserved following among sailors.
